Hippo CMS has been developed based on the principle that different external sources must be able to be merged into a single seamless whole. Hippo CMS therefore works with all current open standards itself and is used in situations where links with other data systems, tools and platforms are needed. A standard link is therefore available for many current sources (SAP, Exact, Plannon). Hippo CMS stores the data in the medium-neutral XML format. Publication in HTML and PDF formats are among the standard options. The structured arrangement of the templates in pipelined XSL transformations makes fast development possible. This also shortens the time taken to implement the CMS.
The environment for the end user is a very user-friendly Word-style environment. Content can be stored and managed here in a structured way. Because of this simplicity, publishing content from the source is possible.
