The Great Place to Work recognition programs take place in 45 countries on six continents and is the largest and most respected employee survey worldwide.
Commissioned by P&O Actueel (a Dutch HRM magazine), the Great Place to Work Institute conducted a research among Dutch companies. The research aimed for investigating the level of company trust under employees and the quality of the work relations, both between employees as well as the relation between management and employees
The data collection is done by interviewing employees, conducting a cultural audit and sending out a questionnaire. The results between companies are compared which results in a ranking.
Award winning companies distinguish themselves positively from other companies in general based on five key values: credibility, respect, honesty, pride and comradeship. It seems that companies who invest a lot in their personnel are more successful than competitors who don't.
Dennis Struyk, managing director HintTech NL, sees the fact that HintTech is elected for the fifth time in a row as a confirmation of the structural attention HintTech has for its employees: 'This year we for example have established a people improvement team, an initiative where management and employees are together looking at improvements, both individual as companywide. The strength of our company is in the people and that requires continuous investments'.
