IT service provider HintTech closes partnership with ReadSpeaker

06 January 2011 - Delft - Today, HintTech announced that a partnership has been closed with ReadSpeaker, a provider of voice software for websites. With the partnership HintTech expands its service portfolio in eBusiness technology even further.

Text-to-speech applications are growing rapidly with the increasing popularity of mobile smartphones and mobile devices. Many mobile devices, despite the good intentions, are still not optimal for displaying larger texts due to the small screens. Speech applications provide a solution for this problem.

In addition, text-to-speech applications offer companies the major advantage that they can reach a larger audience. As many as twenty percent of the Western population still has difficulty reading, due to visual impairment, dyslexia or language delay, so that they are unable to read websites. By reading aloud the information is easier to consume for these people.
