20 February 2011 - Open standards are public agreements about the specifications between cooperating applications, services, systems and networks. This is highly relevant when developing solutions based on internet technology, such as web content management and digital asset management. The standards concerned range from communication technologies such as HTTP and XML to more functional web standards such as the Web Guidelines.

By signing the Open Standards Manifesto, HintTech undertakes to adhere as far as possible to the open standards of the Standardisation Committee as specified in the "Comply or Explain list of open standards” and the “List of widely used standards". By acting in accordance with the Manifesto, HintTech encourages transparency, verifiability, manageability and digital durability of the software solutions developed, as specified in the Open Standards Manifesto for Suppliers.
