Around the world with the HintTech Tridion Flying Squad

02 October 2007 - Delft-based ICT service provider HintTech recently formed the Tridion ‘Flying Squad’. This is a team of ‘flying keepers’ who travel around the world to deliver Tridion implementations faster and carry out quick fixes on site.

The ‘Flying Squad’ is mainly deployed in situations where there is great time pressure. If a client finds that it is unable to meet its deadline in a Tridion project although a mission critical business process is at stake, it gets in touch with HintTech. HintTech quickly dispatches a Tridion engineer to the site, who makes sure that the deadline can be met after all and the client does not experience delays in its day-to-day operations.

“We get overwhelmingly positive comments from our clients about the knowledge, expertise and speed with which the Flying Squad engineers find solutions”, says Egbert Hendriks, CEO of HintTech. “Depending on the demand, we release one or more engineers for a maximum of one day. The Flying Squad is primarily an extra service for clients in an emergency”, Hendriks adds.

“It is also an extra challenge for us”, says Ingmar Umans, a flying keeper with the Flying Squad. “My creativity is hugely stimulated in situations of this kind because we have to deliver a good product under severe time pressure.
