10 October 2008 - The awarding of the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 took place in the Art Gallery Taets in Zaandam. The Fast 50 is based on an annual survey of technology firms in the Netherlands. The competition is carried out by Deloitte in individual countries in Europe, the US and Asia. From these lists a Fast 500 for each region is later awarded. For the third year in a row the ICT-services company HintTech won a spot in the Fast 50, this year taking 30th place.
HintTech specializes, in e-business technology and IT projects. The company, founded in 1997, currently has 113 tech experts spread out between the Netherlands, the US and Serbia. Revenues for HintTech have increased by 650 percent in the past five years and for fiscal 2008 a considerable increase is expected.
“We are happy for the third time in a row to be a part of the Fast 50. The first year we competed we took 48th place with 220 percent growth. After last year’s 47th place and this year’s 30th place with 625 percent growth I see an upward trajectory,” said Egbert Hendriks, Director of HintTech who is based in San Francisco. “Successful entrepreneurship is about following your gut – if it feels right then it is going to work. Not only have we made the Fast 50 again, but we have also been recently named ‘The Best ICT Employer 2008’ by CRF.
“We know where our strengths are and what we do well – e-business and ICT projects,” said Patrick Dekker, Operational Director at HintTech. “We may not be high up in the Fast 50, but the fact that we made the list three times in a row with such high percentages of growth is quite a feat.”
HintTech is a specialist in e-business technology (.Net, Java platform, Tridion) and IT projects. The company was started in 1997 and works with innovation and proven technologies and methods. HintTech provides qualitative custom solutions for their customers. For Tridion, Microsoft, Sun J2EE and IBM WebSphere, HintTech is an advisor as well as partner. HintTech counts Shell, Nuon, Fortis, ING and KLM as clients. It currently employs 113 people and has offices in Delft (Netherlands), San Francisco (US) and Novi Sad (Serbia).
The Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Netherlands is a part of the worldwide program for growing companies in the technology branch. Fast 50 awards are conducted in Europe, the US and Asia Pacific on a country and then regional basis, which results in a Fast 500. The winners are selected on the basis the percent revenue growth over the last five years.
