New business unit manager Dennis Struyk starts at HintTech

20 January 2009 - HintTech, a specialist in the area of eBusiness technology and IT Projects, has hired Dennis Struyk (32) as manager of the business unit, Projects. Struyk will be responsible in his new role for the further development and professionalization of HintTech. He will also be responsible for the strategic development of HintTech’s services portfolio.

dennis_struykStruyk began his professional career in 2000 with the IT consultancy CapGemini where for six years he was responsible for the Infrastructure Consulting Group focused on the Public sector. In his last year with CapGemini he was manager of the group Business Information Management (Business Intelligence and Enterprise Content Management), also for the Public sector. In this role he managed over 70 employees.

In his new position as Operational Manager with HintTech, Struyk takes responsibility for the daily management of all the employees in his group as well as for the quality of the projects. In addition to the business unit HintTech Projects the HintTech Development Center (HDC), the development and administration center of HintTech, also includes Project Management, Information Security and Governance.
HintTech serves the areas of Software Development (.Net, Java and Tridion), Project Management and Information Security. The 1997 founded company currently employs approximately 117 experts. In addition to its offices in Delft the company has outposts in San Francisco (USA) and Novi Sad (Serbia). HintTech has a close working relationship with partner SDL Tridion.

Struyk says about choosing to join HintTech: “The reason that I made the step is that I wanted a more entrepreneurial environment. Moreover, a smaller company has a totally different dynamic. The second reason is that with HintTech, many things are set to happen, nationally and internationally. Over the last five years, the organization has experienced turnover growth of 625%. It has also been chosen to be in the Deloitte Fast50 for the third year in a row. In 2009 the company has high ambitions for growth in turnover as well as with its client portfolio with the further development of nearshore activities in Serbia.  This means that clients will need more professionalization and structure from HintTech and this is where I can make an impact.”

Struyk’s first impression about HintTech is positive: “You see in every way what a professional and ambitious enterprise it is. They know very well where they want to go and how they must get there. Noticeable in this regard is that we are moving to a new headquarters in Delft. This new building truly shows the added professionalism of HintTech.”
