HintTech expands its service offering with testing and quality assurance

03 August 2009 - HintTech, the ICT service provider based in Delft, is expanding its service offering with Testing and Quality Assurance functions. These services will complement the company’s existing portfolio and generate further growth in sales.

HintTech has previously focussed on software development (.Net, Java en Tridion), project management, application management and data security. Now that HintTech can also offer testing and quality assurance functions, it will be able to further optimise its service offering. Whereas in the past HintTech contracted in test specialists as required, the company is now able to carry out projects entirely with its own staff.
The team in question consists of 15 fulltime professionals. The new division will be headed up by Greet Zwaan, an old hand in the world of testing and quality assurance and co-author of TMap®, often called the bible of software testing.
Patrick Dekker, director of HintTech, speaking about the expansion of the service offering: ‘This is a strategic step whereby we can enhance our profile as a service provider who puts quality first. It will allow us to integrate our structured project approach with a thorough testing strategy right from the word go.’
HintTech has its own Development Centre for custom software development and management in Java, Microsoft .Net and packages such as Tridion, ADAM and Hippo CMS. The development centre makes use of resources in the Netherlands, the United States and Serbia.
Dekker: ‘Because we have our own development centre and can now also provide software testing ourselves, we can carry out projects independently from start to finish allowing greater flexibility. We differentiate ourselves by our willingness to invest even in these difficult economic times and to show what we stand for. I am convinced that this expansion will strengthen our market position and lead to a substantial growth in sales.’
