HintTech nominated for the Deloitte Fast50 fastest growing technology companies for fifth year in a row

17 September 2009 - Delft, September 29, 2009 – HintTech has again been nominated for the prestigious Deloitte Technology Fast50, a yearly election of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in the Netherlands. HintTech is nominated for the fifth year in a row.

Since its founding, HintTech has focused on software development (.Net, Java and Tridion), project management, application management and information security.
At the company, which was started in 1997 there are 117 technical experts, spread across the Netherlands, the US and Serbia .

This year there are many new names in the Fast50 nominations such as: ODS2, Webprint and 2dehands.nl. It gives Patrick Dekker, director of HintTech, more pride that his company has been nominated for the fifth year in a row. “I think that HintTech’s growth of 600 percent doesn’t give it a chance to reach the Top 3, but that doesn’t bother me. I place more worth on the fact that we now for the fifth time in a row have been nominated. That demonstrates vision, strategy and stability.”

The growth that HintTech has been able to achieve this year is for the most part thanks to the success of the development branch in Serbia. Next to this the company has not so long ago expanded its activities in test services. With this HintTech can better service current clients and at the same time have a whole new client group to approach.

Dekker: “With good entrepreneurship you on occasion can’t avoid taking - responsible – risks. Such a moment happened two years ago when we decided to take over a development company in Serbia. Despite a broad plan and solid market knowledge it still meant, more or less, a jump in the deep end. Also, this year we stood at a similar crossroads with the question of whether or not we would broaden our services package with testing and quality care. Especially considering the poor economic circumstances wherein the world changed, it’s a decision where you don’t take chances. On the other hand, it is now a time when a company can distinguish itself. That we were so quickly able to deliver measurable results is clear proof here. I therefore consider our fifth nomination in a row as one of the fastest growing technology companies in the Netherlands to be a certificate of good entrepreneurship.”
